GalChimia

GalChimia is a Contract Research Organization founded in 2001 that offers specialized services in Discovery, Process, and Analytical Chemistry to the pharma, biotech, and agrochemical industries. The passion for chemistry of GalChimia’s team has become a referent throughout the years, transforming the company into a European leader in Organic Synthesis. In addition to their Chemical Catalog, GalChimia has provided custom synthesis services to more than 325 clients worldwide. A key aspect of the company is their focus on innovation to continually push the boundaries of organic chemistry and help customers succeed in their R&D projects.

Role within NuCapCure

GalChimia is leading the efforts in the first Work Package, involving the chemical synthesis and validation of NuCapCure compounds. In collaboration with Charles University and Oslo University Hospital, the team will work closely on the design and production of novel compounds able to ‘hijack’ key intracellular processes. GalChimia will be providing vast expertise in the synthesis of new chemical entities (NCEs) as well as on process chemistry for scale-up production. The company will also contribute to the exploitation of results with valuable insight through their extensive experience in technology transfer and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
